Bai Ya Bao, Organic
Bai Ya Bao, which translates to White Silver Tips, is rare tea produced in small batches. It is produced from the lateral buds of ancient, wild tea trees, the same trees that produce pu'er tea, at the end of winter. Unlike traditional pu’er, which requires fermentation, the processing for Bai Ya Bao, is very simple, and just involves drying the tea buds in sunlight.
The resulting tea is practically clear, very light bodied, with a sweet, complex, lingering flavor and notes of green wood, vanilla, fresh grass, pine needles, mint and brown sugar. This tea is nothing short of extraordinary.
