Product Description
Men Ding mountain in southwestern China is famous fir its panda bears and this tea. Originally cultivated by Taoist monks, it has been a tribute tea since the Tang Dynasty, 2000 years ago. Picking begins in March. This batch was harvested March 15th at an elevation of 1450 meters. The name means Sweet Dew of Meng Ding. Look for hints of chestnut, strong floral and honey notes, and a sweet, lingering aftertaste.
Steep 1 tsp per 6 oz of water, for 1-3 minutes at 175F. Good for 3 steepings.
